Casandra Hanson is an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and a proud mother above all else. A lifelong learner with a deep passion for Indigenous studies, advocacy, and storytelling, Casandra has dedicated her career to uplifting Native voices and strengthening early learning opportunities for Indigenous children and families.
She holds a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and brings a wealth of experience across Tribal, federal, and community-based programs. Her work spans early childhood leadership, technical assistance, fiscal and regulatory guidance, and program development — all grounded in cultural humility and a commitment to community wellbeing.
Casandra’s mission is to encourage early literacy, celebrate Indigenous authors and storytellers, and ensure that the stories, teachings, and histories of Native peoples are not forgotten but carried forward with pride. Through her work, she strives to create spaces where Indigenous knowledge is honored, children feel seen, and future generations remain connected to their roots.
